Years before humans roamed the land known as Siberia, one species ruled the land. Wolves. Each pack came from different areas, and settled near each other. They took on the names of the areas they occupied. In the Vasyugan Swamps lived the Vasyu Pack, near the Upper Tunguska River lived the Tungus Pack, in Volga Heights lived the Volg Pack, and in the Kazak Uplands lived the Kaza Pack. All of the borders are close to each other, and some think too close for comfort.
Shame is a realistic wolf RPG, where wolves run wild, and no humans dare touch the land. However, the borders are close. And every pack must fight to survive, for fighting among the packs is common. Each pack has strong leaders, food to survive, and more than that... a will to keep moving through their shame.
Shame is a new RPG site, and is looking for new members. All staff positions are open, and plots are still developing. Come and join us here at Shame.

Plot: Life as we know it has changed dramatically. Now, in the year 2121, it has now become a post apocalyptic world. Humans are gone, and the animals are the only ones thar are ruling. For several years, the humans were unable to come to the surface after a nuclear strike. War had gone on until the humans ultimately destroyed themselves in a nuclear war. Several years later, the radiation had vanished and the animals were the only ones that thrived. Dogs now became the dominant species and ruled over most of the city. The dogs have set themselves into three main packs: the Elwes pack, which is situated in the Southern part of the city; the Richter Pack, which is situated in the North and the Aridale pack, which set themselves in the center of the city. These three packs have proved themselves the strongest. If you're strong enough, wont you join their packs and become one? And let the new life begin...

••• you're not alone
It smelt like rain. It looked like rain. Luke thought it had been raining. Until she stepped outside. It simply looked and smelled like rain and although there was no actual rain, it still put her into a foul mood. And perhaps the fact that she was late for work and trying to put an outfit on while running down the street didn't help as well. Now, don't be peverted. Her button down shirt for work was hastily being pulled over a tanktop, her skirt was slighty lopsided, and her apron? Misput, not lost. Luke glanced hurriedly around, noticing how much it hurt when she did so because her shoulder bag was being held up by her teeth. But the apron was safely hauled onto her shoulder. It was all good. Well not really, it was only the added bonus that her bulky cast on her arm wasn't helping anything. It was more of a burden than anything else. The fact that she was late was the real reason for her mood - and it was all her fault. But who wanted to admit that? She had woken up late, scrambled around for 15 minutes trying to look for some type of food. Stale Fruit Loops did nothing for her stomach, but then again she could steal something off the diner.
A sigh left the girl as she moved the bag from her mouth to her shoulder, effecitively buttoning up her shirt and working on straightening her outfit just a tad. Luke had to work out her money schedule before it got too late. The diner was paying her well enough - well over what they were suppose to be. But all that went to school, the doctor's appointments were adding up, and she didn't have the time to have a second job. Maybe she'd give up the apartment, live in that haunted house around here.
Luke's gaze shifted down, wincing every so slightly as she was bumped through the crowd of people getting here and there. Nervously, she pulled her hair more around her face, shielding herself from the crowd of heated bodies that pressed against her so tightly. Her breath became ragged, trudging up the road of hypervenalating; it wasn’t that each movement she made felt like someone was digging into each bruise she had – no, it was the fact that everyone was so close and .. moving. Trying to calm herself, Luke brought a shaking hand to thread through her hair before she finally broke free and ran across the street. Her bruises seemed like they were made yesterday – not days ago. But still, it felt like lifetimes since she’d left David. Yet, in reality, it had only been three days. The cast on her arm had felt like lead in the past few days – but it was only a hollow reminder of what had happened. And she didn’t want to be reminded.
Finally, the girl arrived at the diner, slightly breathless. She paused before moving in and clumsily threw her hair into a pony tail with one hand. Needless to say, it looked a mess. But did she care at the moment? No, not at all. She already had a near panic attack on the way here, most likely would get food poisoning from those Fruit Loops, and she looked a mess. Well, better late than never. Luke took a deep breath and tried to open the door. Unfortunately, it didn’t work so well and Luke had to put most of her body weight into the door to actually open it. Stupid bright ugly cast.
Inside it was hustling – Mary was juggling a few cups in one hand and large dishes in the other. This was defiantly turning out to be a great day. Luke hurried towards the counter, trying to comb back the loose hairs around her face. Mary shot her a glare, but she ignored it without much thought.
“Sorry, Bryce!” Luke’s voice was pleading as she glanced behind the small window to the cook, and owner of the store. He grunted in response, but didn’t say anything remotely worth hearing. Unfortunately, he was use to her lateness, even though she had been working for two days, at the most. But Luke believed he understood her, somehow. Then again, it could all be in her head.
Luke had been stuck on bar duty – and she hid behind there, refilling coffee pots without much comment. Mary had been forced to cover the tables – something she was not happy about. However, the cast on Luke’s arm wasn’t her fault and the agitation from Mary was making her frustrated. Without glancing up, Luke poised her pen over the paper as she spoke, “Good afternoon, have you decided on your order?”
I live my life in misery I'd sacrifice this world to hold you No breath left inside of me shattered glass keeps falling Say goodnight Just sleep tight Say goodnight...
Over five years ago there were two cities on a piece of land that was connected to the United States. Those two cities were called Syren City and Arges City. The Syren City was dependent on the oil that came from the Arges City. During one political meeting a resident of Syren City said is was the Arges peoples' fault that they kept taking away their food supply. That is when Arges had the last straw. The refused to ship oil to Syren City. Many days passed and their was still no oil. No one could drive, work, or even hear their homes. One day, without warning, the Syren City launched an attack on Arges City. The citizens of Syren left Arges without a single soul living. The used radioactive bombs to destroy their enemy, but this plan backfired. In only a few days the radiation would find its way inside every human in Syren City. Many of the residents moved out of the city to seek refugee. Other stayed knowing they were going to die soon anyway. The radiation still was very powerful after two years and slowly killed all the living animals and humans that lived in Syren. For some reason the canines were unharmed by this radiation. Most of the dogs decided to stay in the city and many others came to Syren to find refugee and food.
The canines grew more intelligent with every passing day and two gangs formed. The gangs were named the Siri gang and the Apocalyptic gang. The Apocalyptic gang was for dogs who were cruel, mean, and pushed aside killing; unless necessary. Now, the Siri gang was much different. They were much more welcome and kind to those who wanted to join their ranks. The leader of the Apocalyptic gang was the two year old, Dobermann named Lazarus. The leader of the Siri gang was the four year old, Newfoundland named Zeus. Both gangs constantly fought with each other and that lead to what many call Lazarus' eyes. Lazarus started to send in trained spies to join the Siri gang. Those dogs did everything they were told under the rule of Zeus. These spies eventually moved to higher ranks, one which was named second-in-command. The sent back the information they gained to Lazarus. Then, one night, Lazarus came to Siri and challenged Zeus. The amount of blood loss eventually killed Zeus and Lazarus was the victor. He smiled with delight and looked over to find a Spaniel mix watching him. She was the Beta males daughter named Berial. He did not know that she would become the leader of Siri.
After the incident Berial formed the Mozhgan Organization. These dogs were trained to spy on the Apocalyptic gang. When Lazarus found this out he was enraged and killed all his members; except one. This dog was put in charge of the Apocalyptic gang's secret society called Razi Navar. They had the same job as Mozhgan. Lazarus again went to Sir and killed all their members, but when he went to go find Berial she was not there. He searched every part of Syren City, but found no trace of her. Lazarus did not know that Berial had left the city for a few days to recruit more members for Siri. Lazarus some became frustrated and returned back to Apocalyptic gang territory. When Berial returned she found the dead bodies of her gang members. The pain was hard to keep out of her heart, but she fought through it and know is more determined then ever. Five years after the bombing two more gangs formed and the number of gangs in the city his a total of six. The Teivel gang, formed by Romano, was known to be the cruelest of all the gangs. They live for blood and like to see fear in others eyes. The other was named Ganarr and they were neither evil nor good, so the resided at a neutral stand point. Many stray dogs have come to live at Syren City and many decide to join one of the gangs. Still, there are many free dogs that roam Syren to keep the loner population alive.
So, will you join the battle against the gangs or will you decide to be free like any other stray. You choose the path you follow in Crossroads. ------
